Rooted in family, cooked with soul.
More than just a restaurant, Bikkle Yaad is an invitation to our table. Slow-cooked traditions, hand-poured drinks, and hospitality that feels like home.
Born from a Sunday kitchen in Jamaica.
Bikkle Yaad started the way every real Caribbean restaurant starts — around a family table. Sunday cook-ups, heavy pots of curry, jerk smoke in the yard, and the sound of laughter underneath it all. We brought that kitchen to the neighborhood.
Every plate is cooked like someone’s watching.
Scotch bonnet roasted by hand. Oxtail braised until it falls off the bone. Rice and peas cooked the right way — with coconut milk, thyme, and allspice. No shortcuts, no pre-made sauces, no apologies.
The kind of place that feels like home before you sit down.
Yaad means home. And that’s what this space is built to feel like — warm wood, island colours, and the kind of hospitality where your name gets remembered and your plate comes heavy.
